किसी भी परहित परिकल्पना का प्रादुर्भाव अनायस ही नहीं होता , निश्चय ही इसमें दैविय शक्ति की प्रेरणा होती है । इसी प्रेरणा से अभिभूत होकर दिनांक 31.3.1997 को महिला नागरिक सहकारी बैंक मर्यादित महासमुंद का पंजीयन हुआ एवं पंजीयन पश्चात दिनांक 26.6.1998 से बैंक अस्तित्व में आया । इस कार्य को सम्पादित करने में बैंक के संस्थापक एवं वर्तमान अध्यक्ष श्रीमती अरुणा शुक्ला तथा पूर्व अध्यक्ष श्रीमती रंजना शर्मा तथा श्रीमती अनिता जी रावटे एवं उनके सहयोगी संचालक मंडल के समस्त सदस्यों के योगदान एवं परिश्रम से ही यह सुखद स्वप्न साकार हुआ है ।
